My 20 year old son got himself a full sleeve tattoo a few months ago. Tattoos are’t my thing and that makes me pretty old school. Deep into the 50’s, I figure there’s not point now and anyway, I have enough scars for some storytelling. A tattoo would only start sagging on my skin soon, even if I went small and on the ankle.
That said, I do admire the creativity and the commitment of many tattoos I see. However, my other issue was the unwillingness and or the inability to even decide on a defining image that I might still like in 10 years, let along a lifeline.
Plus, if you want to know the core reason: I hate needles, they hurt, I avoid that kind of pain.
Now, all that said, ohh, to be a young cycling, fit and firm, bold and decisive. I came across these inspiring designs on a website called nextluxury and a story entitled 70 Bicycle Tattoo Designs.
They’re cool, they’re dramatic, their bike-awesome and sexy. I’m not getting one, hell no, but I highly recommend you do. Make sure they clean their needles real good first. Just looking after ya.
