Sébastien Reichenbach (FDJ) has claimed that Gianni Moscon (Team Sky) pushed him to the ground during the Tre Valli Varesine race. He is taking Moscon to court to for damages and has asked roadside fans for any video they shot of the altercation as proof of his allegations.
“Moscon intentionally downed me. This has been confirmed by various other athletes. They are ready to testify for me,” said Reichenbach.”Maybe a fan filmed the situation. However, so far, I have had no success (in finding a video).”
As of Friday, October 27th, only four video have been submitted and while all of them show people being maliciously pushed off their bikes, none of the victims look like Reichenbach and none of the assailants appear to be the Italian Moscon. However, Reichenback remains hopeful that more videos will surface.
